Founded in 1981 by General Contractor Ed Dion, Dion Builders is a full service, Design Build, renovation company serving the Tallahassee area for over 40 years. As Ed grew his family business along with his family, he employed all 3 of his children, loads of their friends, many nephews and countless locals from our community over the years.

Ed is a Life Director of the Florida Home Builders Association (FHBA) and has served twice as president of the Tallahassee Builders Association (TBA). Among the stacks of Ed’s awards for his service to the industry and projects, he was twice named TBA’s Builder of the Year and was recognized in 2008 as FHBA’s Remodeler of the Year. Ed remains a Mentor and Manager for Dion Builders.

Bryce moved from Minnesota to Tallahassee in 2004 where he got his start with Dion Builders as an apprentice carpenter for Ed. He earned his contractors license in 2017 and took the reigns from Ed as Lead Contractor. In that time Dion Builders has been awarded 7 Remodelers Showcase Awards for his projects.

Growing up in the construction industry, Yvette began working for the family business at age 13. In 2009 she completed her first project with Dion Builders as Lead Designer, an award winning, FGBC certified Platinum remodel of a 1960’s bungalow. She graduated with her degree in Interior Design from FSU’s CIDA accredited program.

Dave started with Dion Builders LLC in 1997. He’s gained a wealth of knowledge throughout the years working on the wide range of renovations projects over his career. Dave wears many hats for Dion Builders, he excels in managing job sites, scheduling and implementing the project details and coordinating the final stages of a project. His strong client relationships along with his ability to managing the sequencing of a project make him a true asset.
